Work schedules will be agreed with the client, this is the same for confirmations for holidays.

Transportation

Travels from living location to work location will be by foot or by bike, because living location is near the working location.

Travels from and to your home country are for costs of the employee.  In case of flights to Eindhoven airport, we can arrange transport to and from the airport. 

Employment with stable work and Dutch contract at the company BAM Works B.V.

Your salary will be built up from the following amounts:

• Starting with a basic gross salary of € 14,06 per hour
• Period payments in euros (over 4 weeks) with possible weekly advances after 1st worked week
• Deduction for health insurance: €41,19 per week (€164,75 per 4 weeks)
• Rent for the living location: €112 per week (€448 per 4 weeks)

You are obligated to have Dutch health insurance, we can arrange this for you for a competitive price of € 41,19 per week. A refund for a part of these costs can be requested at Dutch government by applying for so called ‘Zorgtoeslag’, the refund depends on your salary level and private circumstances. Further, we are using collective services that contains calamity coverage, legal liability insurance and accident insurance for €3,15 per week (not included in the price above).

• You are able to work independently but also in a team, you are flexible and motivated
• Speaking a communicative level of English will be an advantage
• Certificate of Good Conduct

Seasonal work harvesting strawberries in greenhouses and outside on special stands. Plants are mainly planted in modern greenhouses in special pots suspended at a height adapted to the average human height. Thanks to this, hanging strawberries can be picked easily and conveniently without having to bend over the path. Season will start in March and will continue until September/Oktober. Daily duties are: in March starting with the flowers of the strawberry plants, and from April picking the strawberries.

Picking the strawberries is simple; you push a large trolley with you, which has different trays on top, based on the size of the strawberry and ripeness, you pick and place the strawberry in the right tray. You have to take care of the right amount of strawberries in the boxes and verify the quality of these boxes.To make the work even more fun, the greenhouses are filled with music.

High season will mostly depend on the weather, so there will be some quiet weeks also, where you are able to take a holiday or we will offer you another job to ensure you have enought hours per week.

Living location

The living locations which we offer are ordinary residential buildings with space for up to 18 people (1 to 2 people in one room), meeting SNF standards.

The apartments are equipped with a number of amenities:

• Wifi internet,
• Comprehensive social facilities: toilets, showers, washing machine + dryer, equipped kitchen,
• We provide our employees bicycles and keys to the apartment - deposit we charge for all is €150. After returning the keys and bicycle, this amount will be returned.
• The rental cost is €112 per week, also for weeks spent on holiday if you want to keep your bed. If the room is cleaned and all personal belongings are taken, we will not charge you for the premises during your absence.

Each employee using our residential locations receives a bicycle at their disposal to enable them to get to work. It can also be used in free time, for example to get to the store for shopping. If you need to travel more than 10 km to work, we provide another means of transport.
