Ecatrina Lipitor

‘Difficult bosses don’t exist. You just have to find a way to not take negative feedback personally’ – Ecatrina Lipitor

Ecatrina Lipitor has worked in the Netherlands for more then two years. She followed her husband who was already working here. ‘It matters a lot if you have someone who you can share the good and the bad times with when you start to work in a foreign country’, Ecatrina explains. ‘That made working here quite easy’.

Before she worked at R&R plants, she worked for clients that some considered to be difficult. ‘I never had any problems with those clients. ‘The trick is to be open to feedback. Don’t take it personally,’ Ecatrina says.

Ecatrina and her husband have two daughters (28 and 24 years old) and one grandson. ‘He is our pride and joy’, Ecatrina says while beaming with pride. Soon she will be leaving for Romania to attend her oldest daughter’s’ wedding. Her grandson will be christened on the same day. ‘it will be a traditional Romanian wedding. More than 200 people will attend. I am really looking forward to it’ Ecatrina explains.

What are her plans for the future? Ecatrina says she wants to stay as long in the Netherlands as long her health will allow it. When they return to Romania Ecatrina hopes to spend a lot of time helping to raise her grandson. And just like every grandma, she hopes to have lots more grandbabies in the future.
