Tetiana came to the Netherlands because of the war in Ukraine. The war brings a lot of misery and one of the consequences is that there is also little work to be found. Tetiana made the move to the Netherlands partly for her daughter. 'I have always found the Netherlands a very nice country. And when I came to the Netherlands, I liked it even more. I like the fact that even if you don't know the language you can still find a job. And the people here are very friendly and helpful,” says Tetiana. She started as an employee at Lavrijsen's strawberry greenhouse in Bladel. There she performs various tasks, such as picking strawberries, pulling out strawberry flowers in advance and planting strawberry cuttings.
“The most important thing is to enjoy the work and always listen to the boss about what to do and how to do it, then it will be easy and good to work,” Tetiana explains. Tetiana now works with her daughter at Lavrijsen and hopes to work here for a long time to come.
