Work schedule is 8 weeks at work and 2 weeks at home or 10 at work and 3 weeks at home. Twice a year, the driver has the opportunity to take a longer holiday leave (one week longer at home).

We work during holidays also, so we have a rule that a driver who works on holidays in a given year has a day off in the following year.

Transportation

Travels from and to your home country are costs of the employee, we can help you to organize it. In case of flights to Eindhoven airport, we can arrange transport to and from the airport (cost will be deducted from the salary). 

Employment with stable work and Dutch contract at the company BAM Works B.V.

Your salary will be in category D3 or D4 and build up from the following amounts:

• Basic gross salary of € 16,31 per hour up to 40 hours per week
• Overhours (after 40 hours per week) will be paid 130%
• Hours on Saturday will be paid: 150%, hours on Sunday and working on national holidays: 200%
• Delegation of € 59,40 per day when you are full day from the base
• 4 week period payment in euro’s, till 10th day after end of period
• Health insurance for a competitive price of €153,44 per 4 weeks

Average salary per week is about 900 - 1000 euro.

• Experience as a truck driver 4-5 years
• Experience at work with tandem or mega trailer is an advantage
• Positive attitude and motivation to work
• Vaild passport document
• Digital tacho card
• Clean background for Certificate of Good Conduct
• ADR basic 
• English on comunicative level

Working for us you will be part of our team of international truck drivers. You will tarnsport all kinds of cargo with courtain trailer or tandem over the Benelux mostly. Most of the transport takes place from one place of loading to many unloding places. There is a big chance You will have to load or unload trailer manually.

What kind of tucks we drive?

Our modern fleet consists of  Mercedes' trucks mostly, which are having an average age of 2,5 year. All trucks are well equipped (ith fridge, comfortable beds, chairs etc.) and have automatic gearboxes.

What facilities at the base You can meet?

The main base is in Utrecht area. There is an access to the Internet via WiFi and comprehensive social facilities (toilets, showers,washing machine,dryer, fully equipped kitchen).

Perfect candidate:

4-5 years of experience as a truck driver

Speaks English on B2 level, don't have to be fluent, but able to communicate and understand well

Motivated and hardworking

Possible work schedule - 8/2 or 10/3 and 2 times per year driver can take 1 week more

2 types of trailers - curtain and tandem with box trailer

One loading place at the factory and many unloading places. It is hard work, especially with tandem, but salary is good also.

They expect trial day when the driver will come to their base, have an interview and introduction with more experienced driver to see the job. Then both parties are making the final decision.

After 1- or 1,5-year drivers are starting direct contract with the client normally.

Answers form drivers:

Where is the base, where he is cooking, taking a shower, washing? How often do you reach the base? - Conditions at the base are good, but it's very crowded,

How are the trucks inside, what equipment is there to make it good for living (fridges, etc.)? - Trucks are ok. Have refrigerators and everything you need.

Does he loads/unloads by himself? What is the number of loads/unloads maximum/minimum? - The driver unloads by himself, they have 5-6 loads/unloads per day, maybe even more

The addresses for loading unloading are in the center of cities, or no? - Loading addresses are good, Unloading addresses are everywhere, but they are ok.

What are the pluses/minuses of that job that we have consider? - Planning is no longer very flexible, if the company needs you to stay longer at work it's ok, if you want to change your planning, it's not ok anymore

How are the dispatchers and company in general when come to cooperation? - Dispatchers are ok if you don't annoy them, overall it's a good company.
