Work schedule is flexible: 3 weeks at work, 1 weeks at home, or 6 weeks at work, 2 at home or other schedule is possible, after agreed with the planner.

Transportation

Travels from and  to your home country are costs of the employee. In case of flights to Eindhoven airport, we can arrange frist transport to and from the airport.

Employment with stable work and Dutch contract at the company BAM Works B.V.
 

Your salary will be in category D1 and build up from the following amounts:

• Basic salary of €15,38 gross per hour up to 40 hours per week
• Overhours (after 40 hours per week) will be paid 130%
• Hours on Saturday will be paid: 150%, hours on Sunday and working on national holidays: 200%
• Delegation of €59,40 per day when you are full day from the base
• Health insurance for a competitive price of €153,95 for 4 weeks
• 4-week period payment in euro’s, till 10th day after end of period

For week (up to about 60 hours) the average salary is about € 950.

International trips mostly with tautliner trailer to transport different type of cargo like groceries, industrial, chemicals to supermarkets. Client is working on different projects, sometimes shipments include deliveries from wholesalers to private consumers, loading and unlading cargo can be done aslo by the driver. Transport take place through The Nederlands, Germany, Belgium and France mostly however Denmark, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland are also possible. Weekend brakes are mostly planned on the base in Dongen.

What kind of tucks we drive?

Our modern fleet consists of new Iveco on gas. All trucks are well equipped (ith fridge, comfortable beds, chairs etc.) and have automatic gearboxes.

What facilities at the base You can meet?

The main base is in Dongen area. There is an access to the Internet via WiFi and comprehensive social facilities (toilets, showers,washing machine,dryer, fully equipped kitchen).

Is it base, where he is cooking, taking a shower, washing? Where is the base? The company provides all rest facilities including kitchen, shower, washing machine for clothes and dishes at Dongen.

What schedule is possible to work? How many weeks at work/home : We try to work to the maximum working times. I work 6 weeks at work and 2 weeks at home.

Does he loads/unloads by himself? The driver often loads and unloads by himself.

The addresses for loading unloading are in the center of cities or no? Loading and unloading addresses are also in city centers and more difficult places. Groupings are made, that is, many loads and many unloads. I also had 10 unloads in a day.

What are the pluses/minuses of that job that we have consider 😊 The company and dispatchers are respectful, provide all support to work in good conditions. You don't have time for boredom..... Everything is calculated!

Ch. Vermeer owns several types of trailers such as: tarpaulin trailers, which can be opened and loaded both from the rear, where the doors are located, and from the side, by opening the tarpaulin, another type are box trailers provided only with rear access doors. These trailers are equipped with a lift at the rear for unloading and loading from the ground. We also have trailers with ramps at the rear for loading machines and machinery on wheels.

Goods are loaded both from the ramp and on the ground.

Working hours vary between 10 hours and 15 hours (maximum working ability). Daytime work, but with race departures starting at 04.00.in the morning.

You reach the base once or twice a week.

45-hour breaks are taken both at the base and during off-base racing. EU regulations are respected.

Everything is explained before the race, the dispatchers also speak German.

The cars are equipped with transics, through which they communicate by messages, and where the races are displayed, with addresses, unloading times, etc.

The number of unloads varies depending on the distance between customers, on average there can be 4-5 with approx. 550km covered.
